Sunday Service

Our Sunday service is our main time together as a church family. Our desire is for it to be a God glorifying and Christ centered time. Our purpose is to worship the Lord by singing to Him, learning from His Word, encouraging one another, and having fellowship together. The primary goal of our service is to build up and equip the believers, but we do welcome any unbelievers who are interested in learning about God and the way of salvation. The good news of Jesus Christ is shared on most Sundays.

...Let all things be done for edification.
1 Corinthians 14:26

The order of our Sunday service is typically as follows:
- Invocation
- Congregational singing (hymns, Scripture songs, and contemporary songs)
- Reading from God's Word
- Pastoral prayer (children are excused for Sunday School at this time.)
- Teaching from God's Word
- Prayer
- Announcements
- Offertory and offertory song
- Closing song
- Benediction

On the first Sunday of the month we have communion, which is open to all true believers, whether they are members or not. After our Sunday service we provide light refreshments in the fellowship hall. On the last Sunday of the month, we have our Matthew Meal, a special fellowship meal for all those in attendance.
Matthew 8:9-13

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
