Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.

We believe in God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the throne of God.

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict man of his sin, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct, comfort, and empower the believer for godly and fruitful living.

We believe that Satan is the chief enemy of God, the ruler of demons, the deceiver and ruler of this world, the accuser of believers, and one who has been defeated by Jesus Christ.

We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin, and is therefore spiritually dead and separated from God. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can man obtain salvation.

We believe that the death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and forgiveness of sins, and for entrance into the Kingdom of God. Man is saved by the sovereign choice of God, and by repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age. They are not however, to be regarded as a means of salvation.

We believe that the universal church, the spiritual body of Jesus Christ, is comprised of all those who repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Chief Shepherd of the church, and that every local church, under the headship of Christ and the leading of the elders, is to govern her own affairs.

We believe in the personal pre-millennial coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He will rescue us from the wrath to come, and rapture us into heaven to be with Him forever.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and fellowship with the Lord in heaven, and the unbeliever to judgment, to everlasting punishment in hell, the lake of fire.

We believe that God has given us hope, a hope that states that we will be in heaven with Jesus Christ, that we will be with all the angels and saints, that we will be given an imperishable and wonderful inheritance, and that we will possess a perfect, glorified, and immortal body.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
